IPL 2021: Star Sports ready to launch new IPL 2021 phase 2 campaign with MS Dhoni in Rockstar avatar with title ‘Picture Abhi Baki Hai'.

IPL 2021 Star Sports – MS Dhoni Rockstar: After featuring in monk avatar in Star Sports campaing for IPL India leg, the CSK captain MS Dhoni has taken a  360 degree turn. Star Sports is now gearing up for the IPL Phase 2 and in the new campaign CSK’s captain will be seen in Rockstar avatar with the Bollywood movie tagline- ‘Picture Abhi Baki Hai’. The campaign by Star Sports Network will be launched soon and will also feature some of the other top IPL players in different shades.

IPL 2021 Star Sports – MS Dhoni Rockstar: Star Sports has always been very innovative and creative with their IPL campaigns. The official broadcaster in the IPL 2021 campaign had shown Dhoni as a ‘MONK with his head shaved’

Not only the campaign got registered big time but Dhoni’s acting skills also became talk of the campaign. The ‘cool and calm’ headed CSK skipper was guised as a spiritual guru. He was seen telling the students it’s okay to have anger if it helps you succeed, citing Kohli’s example. Similarly, he also spoke ‘greed is also cool’ if it helps you win titles, – Rohit Sharma-led MI’s example.

It will be interesting to see now, how Dhoni in ROCKSTAR looks woo the IPL fans.

The 14th season, which was postponed in May this year in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, will resume on September 19 in Dubai with a blockbuster clash between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians.

The action will then shift to Abu Dhabi where Kolkata Knight Riders will square off against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Sharjah will host its first game on September 24 when Royal Challengers Bangalore take on Chennai Super Kings. In all, 13 matches will be held in Dubai, 10 in Sharjah, and 8 in Abu Dhabi.

The BCCI has come up with a 46-page health advisory that lays down all the pointers that everyone associated with the IPL needs to follow in order to ensure the smooth functioning of the league.
